About this cake
Three graduated tiers, each coated in chocolate buttercream, each carrying its own ganache drip and a ring of piped chocolate rosettes. A line of gold sugar pearls runs around the bottom board.
It is the same chocolate fudge recipe as our single-tier cakes, simply built taller with internal dowels so it holds through the evening. Each tier can be a different chocolate flavour if you want variety on the table.
This is the cake for a walima, a large birthday, a school function or an office anniversary. Three tiers serve roughly fifty to sixty guests, and we can add a fourth for larger halls.
