About this cake
Every rosette on this gown is piped separately, and the shade shifts row by row — blush, rose, magenta, then purple at the floor — so the colour change is smooth rather than banded.
The doll wears a piped pink bodice and a small tiara, and the cake sits on a plain silver board so nothing competes with the gradient.
It is the most photographed of our doll cakes, and the ombre can be run through any two or three colours you like.
