About this cake
This is the cake to order when one tier is not enough. The lower tier is piped in deep magenta rosettes, the upper tier is smooth white dotted with edible butterflies in blue, pink and orange, and the doll sits on the very top with her legs to the side.
The two-tier build gives you more servings without making the cake taller than a child can see over, and the butterflies can be swapped for flowers, stars or hearts if she prefers.
It suits birthdays from about four upwards, and because half of it is white it stays elegant enough for a joint celebration with adults at the table.
