About this cake
The piping is the point: fine white henna-style scrollwork drawn freehand over a mehndi-green base, following the same paisleys and vine motifs a henna artist uses on the hand. It is done with a very fine tip and no stencil, which is why the pattern flows rather than repeats.
A small white and green sugar dholki sits on top, kept modest so it does not pull attention away from the piped work. Together they make this the most literally “mehndi” cake in the range.
Green and white also happens to be the easiest palette to place on any stage — it works with marigold, with white florals, and with the green-and-gold décor most mehndi setups in Lahore use.
